Q: Lifelong Learning and Service

Dr. Cappannelli retired honorably in 2022 after 32 years of federal service and continues to use his expertise to help others achieve academic success. He lives in Pembroke Pines, Florida, with his wife and their Morkie puppy, Mia. Their two grown children reside in Florida and Texas.

Dr. Chris Cappannelli brings a wealth of experience to Graduate School Guru. His career began in law enforcement with Homeland Security Investigations, where he served as a special agent. While managing complex criminal cases, he pursued higher education with determination.

A Journey of Excellence

In 2015, Dr. Cappannelli received his M.S. in Personal Financial Planning from the College for Financial Planning. He then continued his academic journey at St. Thomas University, earning a Doctorate in Leadership and Management in 2018. His dissertation, chaired by Dr. Vernon Czelusniak, was recognized as an exemplar of excellence in quantitative analysis, and he was invited to serve as a Doctoral chair and committee member.
